The mission and objective of Augsburg Lutheran Home’s Human Resources Department is to attract and retain the best health care workers available. The Augsburg Lutheran Home compensation package offers a range of benefits.
Wages:
Augsburg has a performance merit-pay-based system. Each position is classified in a pay grade which has a minimum and maximum rate of pay. The best performers receive the best increases.
Health Insurance:
Augsburg pays 80% of premium cost. Dental Insurance: Augsburg pays 50% of premium cost.
Vacation:
1-5 years of service: 10 days; 6-9 years of service: 12 days; 10 years of service: 15 days
Sick Days:
Eight paid sick leave days per year.
Holidays:
Eight paid holidays per year.
Life Insurance:
The benefit amount is one and one-half times annual salary. There is no premium cost to the employee. Augsburg pays the entire cost of this benefit.
Short Term Disability Insurance:
The benefit amount is 50% of salary up to three months. There is no premium cost to the employee. Augsburg pays the entire cost of this benefit.
Long Term Disability Insurance:
The benefit amount is 60% of salary up to age 62. There is no premium cost to the employee. Augsburg pays the entire cost of this benefit.
Pension Plan - 403(b):
Augsburg matches dollar for dollar up to 3.5 percent of base salary.
